How to Turn JPG Images into One PDF

Turning photos into a PDF is useful for receipts, handwritten notes, application documents and a set of images that should travel as one attachment. The important choices are page order, page size and whether the image should fill the page or keep its natural dimensions.
Prepare the images first
Give the files clear names or arrange them before selecting them. A PDF converter can only use the order it receives, so page-01.jpg, page-02.jpg and page-03.jpg are less error-prone than filenames copied from a phone camera.
Check the images for sideways orientation, glare and unreadable corners. If the source is a large camera photo, resizing a copy before creating the PDF can keep the final attachment manageable. Do not overwrite the originals; you may need the full-resolution files for printing later.
Convert the images in your browser
- Open JPG to PDF and add the JPG files. PNG and WebP images are supported too.
- Drag the file list into the order the pages should appear.
- Choose A4, US Letter or Fit to image.
- Set a margin if the document needs a border, then click Convert to PDF.
The tool puts each image on its own PDF page. A4 and Letter keep a consistent paper size and scale the image to fit inside the margin. Fit to image makes the page follow the embedded image dimensions, which is useful when a page-sized canvas is not required.
Which page size should you use?
- A4 is a practical default for international offices, invoices and document archives.
- US Letter fits common North American print workflows.
- Fit to image avoids unexpected whitespace when the image itself is the thing being delivered, such as a poster proof or a diagram.
The page-size choice changes the PDF page, not the camera image’s missing detail. A low-resolution photo will not become sharper because it is placed on an A4 page. If the recipient will print the PDF, inspect the print preview at the intended paper size.
What an image-to-PDF conversion does not do
The result contains the images as page content. It does not automatically run OCR, so text in a photograph may not be selectable or searchable. If you need a searchable document, create the PDF first and then use an OCR workflow that you trust.
The conversion also does not remove blur, glare or a person’s fingers covering the page. Those issues are best corrected in the image before conversion. For a scanned multi-page document, Merge PDF is useful when the pages already exist as separate PDFs, while Compress PDF can reduce the finished attachment when it is too large to email.
